About Our Philadelphia Roofing Work
We repair, replace and maintain roofs on Philadelphia rowhomes, twins, singles and commercial buildings, and we answer the phone around the clock. This page covers what we do, how a job runs and where we are.

The Roofing Work We Do
Most of our days are spent on the roofs Philadelphia is built from: flat and low-slope rowhome roofs in modified bitumen, EPDM and TPO, pitched shingle roofs on twins and singles, and the slate still covering many older homes. We fix leaks at the flashing, boot or seam where they start, replace roofs down to the deck when repairs stop making sense, and handle the storm and emergency calls that come with this city's weather.
The roof is only part of how a house stays dry, so we also install and repair gutters, rebuild soffit and fascia, repair and install siding, and balance attic ventilation. For businesses, apartment buildings and condos, we install and repair commercial roofs and phase the work around the people inside.

How We Run a Job
Every job starts with finding the real problem. A stain on the ceiling is traced to where the water enters; a roof that seems worn out is checked for layers, soft decking and drainage before anyone quotes a replacement. You get photos of what we found and a written scope, and where a smaller fix is the honest answer, that is what we recommend.
When the work is a replacement or a new opening, we file the permit with Licenses and Inspections before we start. Tear-off goes into the dumpster rather than the alley, we sweep the yard for nails, and on attached rows we seal the joint with the neighbor's roof as part of the job. At the end you get the photos, the paperwork and the product information for what went on your roof.
Where We Are
Our office is at 4032 Edmund St, Philadelphia, PA 19124, in Frankford, which puts us close to most of the Lower Northeast and a short drive from the rest of the city. We cover Philadelphia from the Far Northeast to South Philadelphia and the Northwest, and a short way into Bucks and Montgomery counties. The service area page explains the coverage region by region.
Who Writes Our Roofing Guides
Roofing Guides Editor
Our roofing guides are edited by Fern Goddard, our Roofing Guides Editor. They take the questions we hear most, on the phone and on roofs across the city, and turn them into plain explanations of what roof work costs here, how to choose between materials, and what to do when a leak starts.
